1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) are small files or data items placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, and help the site owner understand how the site is used.
2. How we use them
We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. We place non-essential technologies only if you select “Accept all”. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s storage in your browser and reloading the page.
3. The cookies we use
- Essential - consent preference. A single item in your browser’s local storage records your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. Set by us; no expiry until you clear it. Always active because the site cannot function correctly without it.
- Analytics - Plausible (cookieless). With your consent, we use Plausible Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect or store personal data or cross-site identifiers. It runs only after you select “Accept all”.
We do not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Managing cookies
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them; note that blocking essential storage may affect how the site works. Guidance for common browsers is available in their help pages.
5. More information
