The Firm
Independent since 1980. Owned by those who serve.
A wealth management partnership built on a single idea: that serious capital deserves advice free of conflict and patience free of pressure.
Our story
More than four decades of a single conviction.
John Investments Limited was incorporated on 1 April 1980, founded on a single principle: that serious wealth deserves advice free of conflict, with no product to sell and no interest but the client's.
That principle has proved remarkably durable. More than four decades on, the firm remains privately owned, independent and unchanged in what matters. We have grown by referral, not acquisition, which is the compliment we value most.
Our values
What we will not compromise.
Independence
We answer to clients and to no one else. Ownership sits with the partners who do the work.
Discretion
Confidentiality is the first thing clients trust us with. We treat it as sacrosanct.
Alignment
We are paid by our clients, never by product providers. Our incentives and theirs are the same.
Patience
We measure success over cycles and generations, not quarters.
Rigour
Every recommendation is underwritten. Conviction is earned through work, not asserted.
Continuity
Our people stay, so relationships deepen rather than reset.
The parent
Part of John Investments Limited.
Our wealth management division sits within John Investments Limited, a privately held investment group. The relationship gives our clients institutional depth while preserving the independence and intimacy of a private partnership.
Shared standards
One standard of governance, risk management and compliance across the group.
Independent advice
The wealth division selects investments on the open market, without obligation to the group.
Long-term ownership
Private ownership frees us to invest in people and to think in decades.

The best way to understand an independent firm is to meet the people who own it. We would welcome the conversation.
